Welcome to People & Pets, a mobile application developed by STMM Pty Ltd. By using our app and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1) Free Trial and Subscription
- Free Trial: Upon registration, you will receive a 7-day free trial of the People & Pets app, which allows you to access all features.
- Subscription: After the 7-day free trial, if you wish to continue receiving alerts and notifications, you will automatically be subscribed to the monthly plan at a cost of $9.99 per month.
- No Lock-in Contracts: You can cancel your subscription at any time through the app or your app store settings.
- Payment: Your subscription will be automatically renewed at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it before the renewal date.
2) App Features
- Push Notifications: People & Pets sends push notifications to users for alerts about their pets. These notifications are also sent to your emergency contacts that you list in the app.
- SMS Notifications: In addition to push notifications, People & Pets will send SMS notifications to your emergency contacts. These SMS notifications are covered by People & Pets at no additional cost to you.
- Telecommunication Costs: You acknowledge that STMM Pty Ltd (People & Pets) is not responsible or liable for any charges or costs incurred by you or your emergency contacts from their telecommunication service providers related to the use of push notifications or SMS messages.
3) Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time via the app settings or your app store settings. Upon cancellation, you will not be charged for the next billing cycle, but you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
4) Use of the App
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to use the People & Pets app.
- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account.
4) Liability Disclaimer
- No Liability: STMM Pty Ltd is not responsible for any damages, loss, or inconvenience that may result from the use of the app, including but not limited to the failure of push notifications, delays in sending SMS messages, or any service interruptions.
- Emergency Contact Information: You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date contact information for your emergency contacts. People & Pets is not liable for the failure of notifications to reach your emergency contacts.
5) Data Privacy
- Privacy Policy: We value your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
- Emergency Contact Data: You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for obtaining consent from your emergency contacts before sharing their information in the app.
6) Modifications to Terms Changes
We may update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of those changes.
7) Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which STMM Pty Ltd operates, and any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
