- Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the People & Pets mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
- Free Trial and Subscription
- Free Trial: A 7-day free trial is included with your first purchased subscription to the People & Pets app. During this period, you will have full access to all features. Please note that the 7-day free trial is only available once per user — if you cancel your subscription and later resubscribe, the free trial will not be offered again.
- Subscription Plan: After the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a monthly subscription at $9.99 AUD per month unless cancelled.
- Renewal and Payment: Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time via your device’s App Store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) settings. After cancellation, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
- No Refunds: We generally do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods unless required by law or explicitly stated in our Refund Policy.
- App Features
- Push Notifications: We send real-time alerts regarding your pets’ status to you and your listed emergency contacts.
- SMS Notifications: SMS alerts are sent to your emergency contacts at no additional charge from People & Pets. Carrier charges, if any, may apply for recipients.
- Telecommunication Costs: STMM Pty Ltd is not responsible for any fees incurred by users or emergency contacts for receiving SMS messages or using mobile data.
- Cancellation and Refund Policy
Subscription Payments
- A 7-day free trial is available to all new users.
- Users are charged $9.99 AUD monthly unless cancelled beforehand.
- Payments are processed via your Apple or Google Play account.
Refunds
- General Policy: Refunds are generally not issued for unused portions of a subscription.
- Apple App Store Purchases: Refund requests must be made directly through your Apple account.
- Google Play Purchases: Refund requests must be made directly through your Google Play account.
- People & Pets cannot process refunds directly. Approval is subject to Apple or Google Play’s refund policies.
Cancellations
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s App Store settings.
- Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.

- Eligibility and Account Security
- Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years old to register and use this App.
- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
- Impersonation Prohibition: You must not impersonate others or provide false information.
- Liability Disclaimer
- No Warranties: The App is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind.
- Limitation of Liability: STMM Pty Ltd disclaims any liability for:
- Failures or delays in push/SMS notifications.
- Losses resulting from reliance on alerts or communications from the App.
- Any technical issues beyond our control (e.g., third-party SMS gateways, network outages).
- Emergency Contacts: You are solely responsible for maintaining accurate emergency contact information.
- Data Privacy
- Privacy Policy: For details on how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, please review our Privacy Policy (https://peopleandpetsapp.com/privacy-policy/).
- Consent: You confirm you have obtained consent from any emergency contacts before submitting their information to the App.
- Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time by following these steps in the app: Go to Dashboard → Tap the Settings icon → Select Delete Account. Please ensure you cancel your subscription before deleting your account.
Note: All personal information, including your name, mobile number, and profile image, will be permanently deleted.
- Modifications to Terms
- We may modify these Terms at any time.
- We will notify you through the App or by email of any material changes.
- Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which STMM Pty Ltd operates, and any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
